We Humbly Fast-

We’re thankful Lord for this Sabbath day

We humbly fast with a broken heart

We trust thee Lord and thy perfect way

We meekly bow and pledge thee our part

I pray not my own desires to claim

I search for the strength to others serve

I roam not this world in search of fame

I humbly kneel and pray to endure

To ponder the Saviors lowly state

To read of the miracles divine

To know of the suff’ring sore innate

To learn thy gospel line upon line

May our hearts be knit in unity

May we spend our time to edify

May our eyes see through eternity

May we open hearts and testify
