In thoughtful silence, we search our hearts

for peace, for promptings, for truth unfeigned

Our Saviors life and his sacrifice

on our behalf, in our minds are framed

to witness the holy garden scene                 

Could we bear the sight; that darkest hour

when the Lord paid the price of our sins

Upon the cross, He willingly hung

in agony and humility

The blood of God on the tree was spilt

to win the prophesied victory

The bread and cup we share this day

unite us in our cov’nant journey
